LST is a child company born from Nycote: a leading innovator in the aerospace industry with 50+ years of experience. With LST, the Nycote team wanted to create a space separate from their trusted products that would give room to new products in new industries. This new brand has start-up energy with the backing of industry leaders.
Who is Lloyd Surface Technologies?
Our first mission is to discover and understand LST's position, goals, and mission. Through informational interviews with C-suite stakeholders and head scientist we were able to get a deeper understanding about Nycote and their goals with LST as a spin-off brand. With this R&D and chemical formulation company having the energy of a start-up they can bring their renowned surface technologies to new markets.
Because of the lack of target industry they wanted to cater to for this brand and the goal being to harness the energy of a "new" company, we opted in indexing on abstracting the concept of what they provide with their products in a minimal, tech-forward way. A main word we always came back to was "innovation", much like every other start-up, but how does this particular company innovate?
Through the molecular-level of their products, thousands of test tube trays in R&D, and achieving progress with every formulation… we reach innovation.
